The purpose of this portfolio is to evidence and highlight my career and to offer insight into my future professional goals.

Sara was born and raised in Breckenridge, MN, and currently resides in Wahpeton, ND. Sara received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Mary in 2004. Sara has gained a wealth of knowledge in various settings across the healthcare continuum with a primary focus on hospice and leadership. Currently, she is an assistant professor at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton/Fargo, ND. Sara has carried certifications in NIH-stroke, TNCC/ENPC, CHPN, and SANE-A. Sara graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND in 2025 with an MSN/MBA in Healthcare Administration. In her spare time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and their five children, attending their sporting events, gardening, and being outdoors.
